This Cookie Policy explains how DR BARRON ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on drbarron.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy and our Your Privacy Choices page.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the site.

We also use related technologies that function like cookies, including:

Pixels and web beacons — small invisible images that report when an email is opened or a page is loaded.

Local storage — data stored in your browser to remember preferences or maintain a session.

Software development kits (SDKs) — third-party code embedded in our site to enable analytics, advertising, or functionality.

We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Categories of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into four categories. You can manage non-essential categories at any time through our cookie preferences center, accessible by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer of any page.

Strictly Necessary (always on) Required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled. Examples: shopping cart, checkout, secure login, fraud prevention, cookie consent state.

Analytics Help us understand how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it. Examples: Google Analytics. Off by default; on only with your consent.

Marketing and Advertising Used to measure ad performance and to show relevant ads on third-party platforms. May involve sharing limited data (such as hashed identifiers) with advertising platforms. Examples: Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel. Off by default; on only with your consent.

Functional and Preference Remember your choices, such as your cookie preferences or display settings. Off by default; on only with your consent.

How to Manage Cookies

Cookie Preferences Center

Click Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page to open the preferences center. You can turn each non-essential category on or off and save your choice. Your preference is stored on this browser and device for 12 months.

Cookie Consent Banner When you first visit drbarron.com, a banner asks for your cookie choice. You can:

Accept All — turns on all categories

Reject Non-Essential — turns off analytics, marketing, and functional categories; only strictly necessary cookies remain

Manage Preferences — opens the preferences center to choose by category

"Accept All" and "Reject Non-Essential" are equally prominent. Non-essential cookies do not load until you make a choice.

Browser Controls Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site (cart, checkout, login). Browser-specific instructions:

  • Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac
  • Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookies
  • Edge: support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge

Industry Opt-Outs

You can also opt out of advertising cookies through industry tools:

  • Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org-
  • Your Online Choices (EU): youronlinechoices.eu

These tools set their own opt-out cookies in your browser. Clearing your cookies will reset their opt-out preferences.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser and device, and we automatically disable marketing and analytics cookies that involve sharing data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

GPC support is legally required for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, and Delaware (effective dates vary). We honor GPC for all visitors regardless of state.

To learn more or to enable GPC, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT, and our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor GPC, which is the current legal standard.

Cookies and Children

We do not knowingly use cookies to collect information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our tech stack or legal obligations change. Updates take effect when posted to this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
